My doughter has recently started ice- skating and her coach (Leanne McDonald) means a lot to her. It is Very unfair on her if she wouldn't have Leanne as her coach because it was her decision to pick her. It is not right !!!!!!!

In response to Nola Edgell's comment..... we are insulted and appalled at the slanderous accusations against the running of HAISC. With regard to accounts: they are always accessible, up to date and all accountable.
Restrictions of skaters at the arena to join the club has NOT been set in place by us. We have 97 members, a mixture of ages, abilities and special needs. Therefore their requirements are president, this includes child protection/safeguarding, development of skills on ice, also social skills.
Attacking the club with defamation of character does not cloak the situation at hand!!

The council don't know what they're doing by getting rid of the best coaches the ice arena has to offer. The whole rink will close

City of culture? This is not encouraging the children to take up the sport & represent Britain. Or keep the local children off the streets & out of trouble by giving them a passion of the sport.

Maybe not as popular as some other sports but diversity is so important and coaches provide valuable guidance and support to those with talent and enthusiasm!
