I have a serious safeguarding concern about the decision made by Hull City Council. I believe (and I've heard from very reliable sources) that two of the coaches remaining have the WRONG safeguarding qualifications.

Kids are the future

My granddaughter has trained with her coach since she was 5 and now at 20 has a job and flat in hull and is now a senior ladies British competitor who skates internationally for GB with her coach who is one of the best and top coaches in the uk.come in hull council are you happy to lose this representation for the city.

So many children depend on this

I have 2 special needs children that figure skate and these one to one lessons are there life this is now twice that they have had to change there coach is is not good as they do not do change easily so we really need Leanne to carry on otherwise is is discrimination against disabled children

I understand cuts have to be made, but shouldnt we be encouraging children to be active instead of playing on games consoles.
