my and my children's coach is incredible, he has skated, performed and competed all over the world, from Disney on ice to red bull crashed ice. His talent, experience and enthusiasm make every lesson huge fun and means he can coach any individual in any discipline of any age and Inspire and nurture them to be as good as they can, while having so much fun the kids can't wait to get on the ice. We are lucky to live so close to such fantastic coaching, and we know of many people who travel from all over the north of England to be coached here. I can't for the life of me get my head around the decision to not only reduce drastically the amount of coaching available, but also to rob coaches and students alike. Let's not forget, the coaches are not on the council payrol, they pay for the ice time, each one of their students pays to get in for their lesson, and then the coach themselves for the tuition. Each coach costs the rink nothing, but each brings revenue into the rink. It's not long ago that Our facility Was one of the best in the country, at junior level in figure skating and hockey. My children's coach is incredibly talented, well respected and excels in this sport. His expertise, enthusiasm and ability to inspire is unparalleled. The confidence he gives my children is invaluable. This city must absolutely not lose such a precious resource.

Think this is outrageous, people will stop skating as they need the support of the coaches to give them confidence and improve their skating skills.

I go skating at least 3 times a week and have lessons. I haven't even seen two of the coaches that have been given jobs as they don't work as many hours as those that have been unsuccessful. So how does that work? I'm with my coach for a reason and now your forcing us to give up a great family hobby that we wanted our kids to enjoy in the future. Bring the coaches back and don't ruin this for so many students, families and coaches.

I can't understand why you are looking at getting rid of the coaches they are fully booked up and changing coaches is like changing hairdressers me and my wife both take one on one lessons on a weekly basis I am well disappointed that someone has the idea that I can't learn my passion any more what are we ment to do this is going to effect allot of people and also any potential for future generations

Hull ice arena was my home when I was younger! The coaches made my time there amazing especially vikki and Adrian! You cannot do this to them or the people who do their figure skating, ice hockey or any other training there with the coaches! This is so upsetting that you are doing this! Think about the life's, careers and futures that you'll be ruining with this ridiculous decision!
