These coaches have produced some fantastic talent, talent that is representing this fine city in competition nationwide they should be applauded and encouraged.
It's not fair to the ice coaches, the children or the people that watch them. All the time and effort, these kids work so hard and enjoy it so much. Think of all the time and effort parents,family and friends have put in.

This makes no sense, I'm baffled as to why the council are cutting back services. they should be considering improving the venue and maintaining the high standard of coaching they currently have. It makes no sense to turn away your customer base.

Keep the coaches! We come out from our home in York to Hull Ice Arena several times a week for ice hockey and they need more coaches not less!

My son plays for the under 11s hockey team. The coach's for all the hockey teams, and the coach's for the figure skating are a massive asset to the club.

Why detroy what people young and old enjoy.A place bringing familiez together far and wide for ice hockey etc
.We have allready lost the conference tournament due to greed
The city and council have lost a fortune through this!!!!!!!

This ice areana needs to be kept open for future generations of children. This is a super way for exercise which children today need, and is great for meeting friends. Would be shortsighted of tha council to close it.

My boys have really benefited from the one to one lessons given and by coaches. Reducing the amount of coaches can only be detrimental in encouraging more youngsters to take up this sport. As it is we have had difficulty getting lessons due to coaches being busy - so much for being the city of culture!!!!! Looks more like a cost cutting exercise.

Hull needs a great Ice Arena with qualified staff and coaches so that all children have the chance to skate without travelling miles.
