My hometown is in rural northern BC (Chetwynd) and the education of dental hygienists and certified dental assistants in this geographic area is vital to ensuring human resource capacity in the north.

Reseach indicates that overall health is jeopordized by poor oral health. Why would they even consider removing a program that trains people to combat this issue! Crazy short sightedness.

This is an incredible program for the North and it would be a real shame to see it terminated. I think it is in the best interest of CNC to keep the program running, it would be a big loss to the community and a poor reflection on CNC.

SOOOO, we have BOTH a COLLEGE and a UNIVERSITY,,,,and we cant keep this program??? What a shame, this is why my son has to go to Kamloops to go to school for a Pipefitter and this is why I'm moving to Kelowna to allow my 7 year old a better education. Because she cant get it in PG!!!! :(

Why should people who want to work in Northern BC have to leave Northern BC to get trained in their profession?

Why would you cancel such an important program. Its hard to recrute people to the north so why not educate them here?????
