It's reflective of the greed and corruption that this is even a point of contention. Let's process the prospect of this endeavor against all the work and enjoyment that has and is currently happening literally a stones throw away at the beautiful preserve. Get real! Career suicide for whomever approves this disgrace. It's all public. Not here

As a 14 year Sarasota resident I am deeply disappointed to see beautiful green spaces like the celery field be disregarded at the whim of Developers. Please preserve the celery field as it stands now as the area is one of the last few beautiful green spaces that are within reach of the majority of people living in and around Sarasota.
The whole area is enjoyed by birdwatchers joggers walkers equestrians photographers and more.
