Sarasota's government has a sad history going back almost 50 years of doing the wrong thing just about every time. Don't let this be another occasion that the people lose what is theirs.

This is the negating the point of have celery fields and killing one of the only nature preserves we have.

How stupid is this. Sarasota commissioners do everything possible to make our city less appealing..makes me wonder, about their motives.

This bird sanctuary is too important to make it endangered with additional traffic, polution, and activity .

This place is a beautiful quiet sanctuary for myself and my family. I go to the fields to "get away from it all". Please do not take away it's serene beauty and quiet.

We do not want a 14-acre recycling plant built next to the bird sanctuary at the Celery Fields

The Celery Fields in SRQ is a national birding destination and an asset to Sarasota. Let's ensure the development around it enhances this gem!

Commissioners....just use the current zoning restrictions to deny the exception...the restrictions are there for a reason
