Save our celery fields. This habitat should not be destroyed with all of the noise and pollution that will be created as a result of a recycling plant opening right there at that location within 50 feet of countless animals homes.

Bird lovers come from all over the world to see some of the rare species that live in Celery Fields. The county gets tourist dollars from this activity and we have invested lots of money in a visitors center and landscaping. It seems counterproductive ,and too sad to even contemplate, ruining all of that with a noisy plant that will scare all the birds away and destroy the peacefulness of the park. Human beings need quiet places to walk, exercise and stay in touch with nature. We don't have very many anymore in most cities. Please don't destroy this one.

They should build it further out on Fruitville or Clark away from populated areas. The county shouldn't be allowed to devalue property and wildlife in that area just to fuel the new building boom which is over until with illegal immigrants. The county should focus on how to deal with the problem of American jobs being lost to illegal immigrants who take them. It's a travesty in my trade of building that I have to bid against people who hire illegal workers in Sarasota county.

Please don't ruin the celery fields. The only place around here one can take an elevated walk in nature.

A concrete crushing facility doesn't
sound like a compatible land use for neighboring a valuable County recreational area.

The Celery Fields has become an international destination for Birdwatchers. Birdwatchers spend more per person than nearly any other group. This is an economic engine for Sarasota County. I do not want my county government compromising nature for a short term profit. Sarasota votes 80% on ballot issues to support nature everytime. You can be voted out if you do not listen to the citizens of Sarasota County.

We had a recycling company by us. Number one it ate the paint off my car and the rats were unbelivable and the noise and stench.

Albeit recycling is important in many of its forms, but an industrial recycling plant would be detrimental to the wildlife that have made a home in the celery fields as well as to the public who enjoy this area for respite from the constant chaos that surrounds us. Sarasota prides itself in its natural surroundings. Please place the plant elsewhere.
NO industrial recycling at the Celery Fields!
This is a place where families go!
