Save the Celery Fields in Sarasota, FL

Save the Celery Fields of Sarasota. Not only are they historic but they have become a refuge.

Please save our park for our people and our pets

Please protect the beauty and serenity of the celery fields

I wish these people would think with their brain instead of their pocketbooks!

Please help preserve this unique birding spot. We have met people here from all over the world who come for the birding in this beautiful location.

The county spent a lot of money for the bird sanctuary only to have a destroyed because of greed

Please do not disturb this precious area by rezoning.

Why would the county want to do anything to harm the celery fields when they have put so much time and money over the years making it what is is today. We need to protect that.

This is an inappropriate place for the processing plant. The noise, lights, and potential pollution will disturb nesting bird and amphibian habitat that is a draw for birders from both Sarasota County and elsewhere. The site is a tourism draw and important to residents who enjoy the quiet and birds. Please deny.

I strongly oppose the building of the industrial recycling plant near Celery Fields. Celery Fields is a major preserve for all kinds of birds and wildlife and is a major tourist attraction of Sarasota. The recycling plant will be very disruptive to the natural environment due to noise, traffic, and fumes, for starters, so close to Celery Fields and cause irreparable damage to the treasure that is Celery Fields. Surely a better place could be found for the recycling plant than right next to such a fragile and enormously important preserve as Celery Fields!!!!!!!!! Once the damage is done it can NEVER be repaired. Please do not approve this plant at this site!
