The proposed project is simply not compatible with surrounding uses. Safety is also a concern at the Apex Rd / Palmer Blvd intersection.

My wife and I do NOT want a 16-acre, industrial recycling plant built next to the bird sanctuary at the Celery Fields! We built our home in 2003 and have enjoyed the peace and tranquility of our community for the past 13 years. The dangers of additional noise, pollution and traffic, in addition to the threatened lowering of our property values, makes us ask that Sarasota county NOT approve the zoning exception required to build this industrial facility.

Please consider moving this facility to LAKEWOOD RANCH. They will appreciate the lower taxes. Not.

There ate fewer and less parks. These parks need to be kept safe for all of us. Parks are the only safe place to exercise and Sarasota is running out of parks. Not only people need parks but animals as well. Tell me where do i find birds if it isn't for parks.

I visit Sarasota frequently. While their I hike around the celery fields and enjoy birding. Please do not allow any corporation to come in and distract these lovely birds with noise, dust and contamination. You have created something beautiful, do not disturb this habitat.

Please do not destroy the peaceful
Celery Fields. This will destroy the surrounding environment and wildlife and seriously depreciate property values and our peaceful quiet neighborhoods.

Walk my Great Dane s here for years. Have watched Celery Field s flourish! Please don't allow industrial building near this beautiful spot. Sarasota is losing it's beaches. Scientists say 20 years keys will be gone. THERE ARE GROUPS WORKING TO ENSURE FUTURE TOURISM IN SARASOTA. Someone should ask these groups to support this effort. Area colleges should be able to get group contact information.

After Audobon and the county put so much work into this to create a protected space for birds & wildlife. A place for people to enjoy the quiet and where children could learn.

This project needs to be halted! He already has started construction at the corner of Porter and Palmer, and wants the adjacent properties to complete his recycling plant. Dust, noise and traffic are just a few of the problems this project will cost. Plus it will cause property values to drop in the area. We can't afford this recycling plant!!!

NO industrial recycling plant near the bird sanctuary or homes! How is it okay to decrease home values?
