It is disgraceful to even contemplate putting this here! We will move if this goes through!

The celery fields is an environmental treasure and the area should be zoned to restrict development that would impact the appeal of park for its many users and that could alter the many features that provide a rich habitat for birds and other species.

Save the celery fields! Please do not build anew industrial recycling plant next to it. It is so beautiful and peaceful out there now.

Please do not destroy this pristine area enjoyed by the wildlife and many Sarasota citizens. You've built out so much of our beloved recreation areas. The hill and surrounding areas are one of the few precious natural areas still preserved.

Exercise, particularly in the outdoor, is CRITICAL to our health and our the health of our environment. Not only do we need to preserve celery fields where I run and bike weekly, but the birds and our wildlife and our water needs it also.

The celery fields should be valued as a wonderful resource for our community and visitors. Putting a recycling plant nearby defeats the beauty of this asset. Say no to the sale of the property!!

Public outcry at the Planning Commission meeting Wed. AM is critical if you want to stop Jim Gabbert from constructing a recycling facility with 35 foot high piles of material.

We have so few green spaces remaining in Sarasota. Our downtown has already been destroyed by over building. Please preserve this emerald gem, and do not let greed and short-term goals get in the way of a long-term treasure. We need our birds and wildlife to make us whole, and we need the open space of the Celery Fields for their home.

Why must we develop all this green space? Can't we leave a portion of our beautiful city unconquered? This is the wrong place for this project.

Whats happens to Sarasota when it rains then? Where exactly does the run off from the plant go? Don't tell more in our Gulf Waters! Sarasota, what are you doing?

No on building any industrial plant. It is a wonderful place to run and exercise at the celery fields.
