Many people who live or work in Sarasota enjoy the celery fields. People walk/jog the trails, photograph the birds and other wildlife and enjoy the relative peace and quiet of the place. I don't understand why the county would even entertain the idea of putting this facility near such a special place.

The celery fields are a gift to our community...don't sellout,, we don't want a recycling plant in this sanctuary...the congestion, noise & pollution are serious concerns. Please listen and think about the long term destruction you will causing. Seriously, think about what's right, not just about growth and money.

Enough with the building lets preserve some nature, give our kids and ourselves a beautiful place to get out and enjoy - we need more family friendly places to enjoy here in Sarasota, not more buildings, warehouses and residential communities - I used to ride my horses all out here, not the majority of the area is covered with homes...focus on our infrastructure and not on putting more people on our already illequipt roads....

So disappointed with our commissioners and they direction Sarasota is going in. My famiky has had a home here for more than 30 years. We are all now thinking it may be time to find a "new" old Sarasota in Florida

There are plenty of strip malls. Beautiful works of nature are few, and precious. Please deny these permits, and buy these lands to protect them forever!

Do not build this facility next to this sanctuary! Please protect this for the people and the wildlife! The commissioners conspiring with the developers are apparently not going to be happy until they destroy and trash every inch of the state of Florida! DISGUSTING!!!!
