This is my favorite park that my dogs and I go to... there aren't enough TRUE open spaces and natural parks for humans AND their dogs to go to in Sarasota!

The noise, pollution, traffic and general hustle-bustle that further development around and near the Celery Fields will seriously damage a Sarasota jewel. The Audubon Society's choice of the area for their newest local center speaks volumes to the Fields' value as a natural habitat and sanctuary. Let it remain so.

Please keep this bird sanctuary safe from industrial pollutants. This is a special area to Sarasota, nothing quite like it in any other city. People go to Celery Fields to relax and be with nature. No recycling plants should be allowed anywhere near this "preserve". Come to your senses Sarasota Commissioners.
