This wetland is a Sarasota treasure. People enjoy this area everyday.
Find another place for whatever industrial needs you have. Please be responsible and find a more suitable business. If indeed you have to develop it at all.

I started coming to Sarasota in 1966, and have been coming here every year since. Made a permanent move here in 1987. I have watched this pristine paradise that has attracted people from all over the world become overrun with so called progress. Enough is enough. There is plenty of other land available for business and expansion that does not threaten wildlife and home values. Lets not get rid of resources that we cannot replace. I object to any build or zoning changes that may hinder the beauty and delicate balance of nature that we have all come to wonder at. This is our community. I request that you act in a manner that indicates that you too care about where we live.

Please don't develop this area! I've run, rode my bike, and just relaxed here MANY times over the past few years. It's one of the few places in Sarasota to be outside that isn't a beach. It would be a shame to lose it.

While I understand the need for recycling, I believe there has to be a better place to put this plant. Recycling is supposed to aid the environment, not destroy it. Please put this plant somewhere that nature has already been ruined. Then it will be a win-win situation!
