I totally object to the use of this land for a dump. This is by schools and a bird sanctuary where Sarasotans enjoy outdoor beauty, nature, etc. hard to believe ANYONE would approve of this.

What are you thinking? A dump next to the highly acclaimed Bird sanctuary at the Celery fields.

This is not an acceptable location for a recycling plant. The Celery Fields is a tourist attraction that should be preserved.

After putting all the money and effort into developing a wonderful park and bird sanctuary, how can a project that has the potential to have a serious negative impact on Celery Fields even be considered ? Please Commisioners, do the right thing. Vote this project down.

This project would seriously affect the value of nearby homes, as well as the quality of life for residents and students. Thank you for opposing it.

I moved to Sarasota in August of 2016. After having lived and worked in Europe for 35 years, traveling widely, we found the beauty of Sarasota unique. Please don't allow greedy businessmen to ruin even one part of our beautiful city.

Please keep the celery fields for the birds and wildlife who visit here and not a trash facility. I drive by the celery fields every day and see how everyone enjoys this area. Let's keep it great for the environment.

I am strongly opposed to the construction of the recycling plant at the proposed Palmer Blvd. location. The proximity to celery field and the environmental impact are major considerations.

Please do not build the waste site at celery fields! We love and enjoy the current beauty of the area. If the waste facility is built it would dampen our neighborhood and dampen our overall experience in our immediate area. We don't want to contend with the additional traffic and pollution that such a site would have. Thanks in advance for looking out for the residence of the celeryfields/palmer area!

Just trying to understand why this area is even under consideration! Too many residential communities never mind National Audubon areas to think about. Move this idea up the road on the Trail just north of the Sarasota/Bradenton line!
