Celery Fields is a county treasure. An industrial recycling plant is incompatible with the natural resource values here that bring visitors from all over the nation.

MUST NOT ALLOW

This is insanity, the entire area is a gorgeous park that's enjoyed by so many residents in the area. And to uproot to many of the birds living at the sanctuary land that is provided. Please reconsider this decision.

Seriously?! What is happening to Sarasota? The tourists that once flocked to this natural beauty of a town will not continue to come back if we don't stop killing what we have. Have a little common sense!

We go there frequently with the family to see the wild life. This would be awful is this natural habitat was lost due to the disturbances.

I live close to here and DO NOT want this industry recycling plant here, I am a taxpayer and voter

We do not want this plant, traffic is already bad enough and this plant would add more. Not to mention the noise.

this is ridiculous and i'm tired of this pointless construction in places people have been visiting for years. LEAVE THE CELERY FEILDS ALONE. i've spent far too many days and nights here watching the clouds and stars and it's the best place to go for a run or walk your dog and the birds that you see are beautiful. leave our fields alone

This is a historical wildlife refuge and there are many other areas in Sarasota to put a recycling center that are not in a wildlife area or populate area
