I'm appalled that the county would build a recycling plant at this location. This will ruin the area for the nearby neighborhoods and Bird sanctuary.

Relocate this somewhere else. It's totally ridiculous

In Sarasota Celery fields is one of our last open spaces for bird habit and viewing. Please protect it by not allowing an industrial facility adjacent to this special area.

I have lived in Sarasota since I was 4 years old and am 28 now. I spent a lot of my childhood at the celery fields and still bring my younger brother there.

Birders come from all over the world to visit the Celery Fields, an amazing tourist attraction. As
birding is the most popular hobby in the world Sarasota needs this drawing card. I myself have had friends visit in 2017 from Canada and England to bird our wonderful park.
amazing Celery Fields

This is the start of the Philippi Creek watershed, where a vast majority of birds migrate and live, a place where tourists visit and local go to enjoy and exercise. Not only that the roads cannot handle the traffic they already have.

I come to the Celery Fields as a tourist 3-4 times a year. We spend 1-3 nights in Sarasota, dine out, and shop. Please don't allow a cement plant in the vicinity.
