Absolutely ridiculous to have spent so much money to create the park and bird sanctuary and then allow noisy trucks and machinery, along with dust, scare away any birds and animals (and the tourists that come to see them).

The Celery Fields are a natural sanctuary for wildlife. The Audubon society headquarters were just built there. Sarasota has invested heavily for landscaping of the "Park" Keep it a park. Do not turn it into an Industrial wasteland.

When are gov official going to understand that tourism =$ for gov. If you destroy the environment there will be no need for tourist to come to Florida.

The Celery Fields is absolutely beautiful and such an asset to Sarasota! Please leave this tranquil area alone and stop destroying the land and all of the innocent animals that reside there. Go put your freaking business somewhere else and leave this tranquil area alone. If you move in there it's going to be ruined. Please move into a commercial area that is already destroyed or take over a vacant building but leave this area in peace. We must have some beautiful green areas that are not all about business.

Please save what we call "Kassie's Fields". Our dog whom we lost to cancer at 4 yrs old used to love to run through those fields. It's how I remember her. So many people enjoy the peacefulness it brings. We literally don't have places like this down here. Even the beaches are chaotic.

Would be sad to see this happen. I understand that a recycling plant is better for the environment, but not if you put it next to a bird sanctuary...

The area on Palmer Blvd is not the right place for this project.

No where in the Comprehensive Plan volumes is it outlined.

This a beautiful piece of land that needs to be kept wild for the sake of both animals and people.

Please don't do this. Leave a little nature for city kids to enjoy! Our third graders take a field trip to the celery Fields every year to learn about animals, specifically birds. This could be disastrous for the environment in this area.

This is no place for an industrial park! People live and play right there. It's a peaceful place .Let's not destroy that!!!

The Celery Fields are so special and a real asset to Sarasota. I strongly urge you NOT to put a recycling plant next door.
