This is a lovely building and THE venue offering regular Jazz events in the Scarborough area. Losing it would be detrimental to the development of local musicians and to the community as a whole.

We have hardly any accessible venues that don’t cost an arm and a leg in Scarborough. This pub serves the local community, colleges and a much wider community… it’d do you a favour investing in it and keeping the same fabulous meeting place it is and has always been!

The Cask is a vital venue for music events, all run by the community and many enabling local residents to participate with great benefits to personal wellbeing and community cohesion. It's loss would be greatly felt by the Scarborough community.

The Cask is a pub. Its also a warm space for the elderly, a welcoming place for the lonely, a comforting place for the neurodiverse, a performance space for local talent, a visiting place for international musicians, an affordable local venue for private functions, a destination for holiday makers. It is a true community hub were everyone is welcome, and a valuable asset in a seaside town. Please save The Cask.
