Grew up in Scarborough, attending and playing at gigs in The Cask. The town needs small venues, especially those friendly to under 18s.

This was an essential part of my early adulthood and was a fantastic place to meet friends.

One of very few community grassroots venues in Scarborough. Save live music!

This club is for the residents of Scarborough not just seasonal visitors. Since moving here 3 years ago I have seen many good businesses close and hope the jazz club doesn't follow suit. There is obviously a demand and it would mean a great deal to the well being of the community as a whole.

I love the Cask, I virtually lived there as a young adult and still attend the Jazz club form timt to time. Would really miss this place if it were to go.

I hope that any sale of the pub would include a condition that the pub business and live music venue would be continued.

The Cask is part of Scarborough. So many memories in this place. It would be such a loss to the local community if it closed and was turned into something else.

THis is a landmark pub that should not be lost. Not only important to the South Cliff area but to the wider community of Scarborough.

This is an important venue for the arts in Scarborough, specifically jazz but also for the wider community. Too many of these vital venues are being lost to developers.

We simply cannot lose the cask. It's the beating heart of grassroots live music in Scarborough, and a vital pub in the south cliff area where we have now lost the majority of our public houses. Save the Cask!
