Please don't cut down these beautiful oak trees. Tallahassee has lost enough of its natural ecosystem to ruthless development. The city skyline is becoming clogged with the same stagnant architecture, devoid of any true creativity. Leave the trees and let them replace themselves, the value to doing so is significantly higher than that of buildings which can be built elsewhere. This valuable life cannot be recouped once lost.

I love our trees, our canopy roads, our parks and bike paths. When my family comes to visit they are always so complimentary of the cleanliness of our city and of all the magnificent oaks. Many things show progress in a community and change is often necessary however when it comes to our mighty oaks they are a part of our history and cannot easily be replaced. I love being able to see so many amazing oaks throughout our commmunity and when I visit other city’s I am reminded how amazing it is to come back to north Florida. The trees are worth saving and their removal would leave a void in this community.

Stop this crime against the people. This development will also ruin the entire Cascades Park.

Leave the trees alone Developers! A smaller footprint is demanded in order to resolve. THE PEOPLE refuse this design and scope! Back to the drawing board or or scrap this phase of the project now completely. We live here. You don't. Without trees Cascades is just Downtown. Too hot. No where for shade for the children.

These old growth trees are a symbol of Tallahassee. Saving this grove demonstrates the City's committment to protect beauty and natural landmarks. The City can
loudly proclaim that it
adheres to it's own preservation policies (eg the Ordinance against damaging/removing live oaks) and thus attract more visitors/residents to our beautiful City!

Please save these oak trees. Their beauty is beyond compare and they should not be sacrificed so that someone can make a profit. Please show that you care more about your constituents and Tallahassee's beauty than lining some developer's pockets.

I share ALL of the remarks in The letter from Salky Lines to the Maor and City Commissioners!!
You are planning to remove some of the most spectacular subjects that are left identifying our Beloved Tallahassee!! How can you even consider such a Travesty !!??? Nothing more gorgeous anywhere and one of the reasons our forefathers choice this location for this area - over all others-- to become the home of our State government! !!
Ladies and Gentlemen - as a native Tallahassean And forever a resident - I BEG of you to understand what you are wanting to do to our Lovely City!! For the Love of ALL --too much of our history has disappeared over the years! Let us NOT let it happen again!!
Thank you for reading these remarks and seriously taking them to heart --- as well as reconsidering your plans!!

So many treasures in our beautiful city have been destroyed in the name of progress. We owe it to the next generation to preserve what makes this community special. Part of our charm and heritage lies in these enduring and beautiful oaks.
