The beautiful oaks and other trees downtown are what make Tallahassee special. There has to be a way to make the development work around them and be more aestheticly in line with what makes our city unique and beautiful. Surely our current leaders don't want a modern glass monstrousity that replaces these ancient trees to be their legacy?

Our remaining Heritage Oaks are among the most spectacular items that sets Tallahassee apart from our neighbors. Preservation of trees equates to preservation of quality of life of Tallahasseeians. Without trees there is no Park. Infill and development is possible without destruction of the nature that the majority of your residents want protected forever.

One of the things that makes Tallahassee special is the trees. This is not Fort Myers and we do not want it to be.

I am a lifelong native of Tallahassee and feel strongly that our heritage live oaks should be preserved as a priority. They can never be replaced and would be sorely missed emotionally and environmentally.

Preserve the beauty of Tallahassee's trees and hills--none of the five acres of it should be leveled!

The true charm of tallahassee is in the old oaks, and if you cut them all down, this town will lose the individuality and beauty. I know economic growth is important, but more and more, you're taking away our reasons for loving and staying in this community. Please stop this.

Please find another way to accomplish construction goals for the park. Tallahassee’s trees are being cut down at an increasingly alarming rate and these oaks are irreplaceable!
