Please stop destroying Tallahassee! How many more retirement homes, condos and apartment buldings do we need?! The city is full of abandoned strip malls take over one of them and build this mostrocity. Save the trees!

Please don't allow this treasure to be destroyed or changed. You cannot undo the damage that would cause to the brand that is Tallahassee. When I moved here from Atlanta, 35 years ago, there were so many voices protecting Tallahassee's trees. It seems that now the loudest voices are fueled by power and greed. Think about it; this can never be restored. Just say no!

How can the proposal to destroy this beautiful hillock of stately oak trees possibly contribute to Tallahassee's efforts to evolve the true character of our city?
I rather see it as a process which devolves our present character - the charm of our natural old growth landscaping.
By devolve, I reference vocabulary dot com's definition:
to devolve is to get worse instead of better. The de- in devolve is a clue to its meaning. When things devolve, they deteriorate, degenerate, fall apart, go to the dogs, and generally end up worse.
