we are squatting a building in lewes that has been empty for a number of years and the developers are trying to knock down to build 11 over priced modern flats on the land. the victoryian society have been pushing to get the building listed for afew years now but with no luck, the building is a part of lewes history and it would be a terrible shame to see it be knocked down. we need as many signatures as possible to show that people would rather this building be used as a home for local people than just a way of over developing a small town and making a large profit. we are group of young people who cant afford to rent in the town they have grown up in but where there is empty propertys just left to rot . we are not drug users and have respect for our neighbors . we treat the house like our home and as we would if we were renting the property . please show your support and sign the petition thank you for your time.
