Save the Campus Nurse

Ridiculous that a college campus wont have an onsite nurse, administrators should be ashamed of themselves

Please keep the Nurse our students need her

She is a great nurse, she really cares for the students!

Save the nurse!

Keep the nurse! There are so many questions that students need answered related to their student health. She also communicates about various issues that are often universal.

School nurses are a critical component of student health and wellness. I couldn't imagine going to a college that didn't provide this service. When seconds count, rest assured your school nurse knows what to do. Consider him/her an asset to your team, not a burden. Please think wisely about this decision. Pete Renda, '14

I don't go to this college but saw this on Facebook and I cannot imagine not having a health care center for students. It is essential. I hope you all get to keep your Campus Nurse!

Students need these things. They are over stressed and working on tight budgets. These services can, and have saved lives.

Never take away something that parents look for In their kids making a college decision. It's important we have someone like this.

Keep the School nurse

There are enough students who do not get the medical treatment they need because Katie is only available three days a week. Without her services, the campus will only suffer.

I attend Wartburg College and there are a ton of cuts here as well. Yes, the colleges might not be cutting scholarships, but we are affecting lives of staff, profs, and students. I know the campus nurse at Simpson just saying she is there for students and maybe seen as a mentor. Cutting her you are cutting away how many students' mentor by cutting her and other students. The cutting of staff and profs is obviously affecting my school as long as Simpson. Please think of all the factors when cutting staff!.

I'm beginning to think that Simpson doesn't care about the welfare of its students.

Tired of things I was promised when I choose Simpson being cut!

It is very important to keep the Campus Nurse. Most of the students come to college not knowing a lot or have access to transportation. By deleting this position, they will no longer have someone to turn to for assistance.

The campus nurse was hugely helpful to me when I had no where else to turn to. Although I came in tears and could barely speak, she helped me through and got me in the direction I needed. Simpson would be making a large mistake getting rid of her.

I love Katie! Don't go!

As a parent, I want to know that if my child is sick or has a health concern, that they will get the help they need without the additional stress of going off campus and/or not knowing where to go or what to do!
