I grew up in Calstock and visit regularly. This would be a disaster for the village and all its residents, it can not go ahead!

I am totally against this proposal. I attended the open meeting and voiced my opinion to the ineffective gentleman. Calstock NEEDS the bike show and other events which use that area. The annual cost of upkeep is insignificant when compared with the total price. If this area was in London there would not even be an argument. They are not listening to the wishes of the people who live in the village.

This is an area used by the community for many years and should not be flooded. It will have an adverse effect on Calstock.

This would be devastating for me and my wife as this event is part of our annual holiday as it coincides with our wedding anniversary

What considerations have been made for the wildlife that lives in these meadows. Also the bike event brings money into the town and would be unworkable without the camping available at present in the fields. What other solutions have been discussed, can't see any.
