So what is the benefit of flooding the fields not sure what difference this will make to any thing apart from loss of parking & cuting down on people visiting the place.

Breaching these fields would be a detriment to the local tourism and take away from the village. I have visited many times and enjoyed the sights and walk the bank provides. I would be disgusted if this was flooded especially against the locals wishes.

Can't see the point of flooding these fields anyway as they are so close to the sea.

Love the river walk and every field. Please do not ruin our water front.
The fields are used by campers bringing vital tourism to the village.

This is without question the best rally we attend and certainly the most picturesque. The community give up a lot of their valuable time and do a fantastic job organising this event which benefits the local community greatly.
It would be a crying shame if these fields were lost to the local community.
Please please please save these fields for the benefit of all

The Environmental agency, a bunch of
Quangos trying to justify their jobs and get their hands on Government money. The money should be spent on maintaining the existing bank, which is our first line of defence. Its about time the Government got control of these entities. Save our fields and bike show.

The fields and river walk are well used by the local community/bike show and it would be detrimental to the village if they were lost.
