Although I've been away from Oswego for over 50 years I still remember going to Cahill's on Friday nights for our fish .

When I was 4 or 5, I used to help unload the fishing boat! I always got a fish to bring home and a soda! He always told me to tell my Mom that I caught it myself!!!lol!!!

Cahill's brings back warm memories of my life in Oswego as a child and young adult. It was my family's longtime ritual go get delicious fish dinners on Friday nights. The quality was always superb and I have never had a haddock dinner that compares to this day. When I visit Oswego, one place that I always want to see is the Cahill's Fish Market building. I hope that it is able to be maintained for many years to come.

Cahill's is not just a building. It is Oswego and Oswego's history. It was part of growing up in Oswego. It was someone's lively-hood. It was Friday night fish dinners. It was where neighbors talked at the end of a long week of work. Cahill's is part of Oswego's culture and a emotional bond to a very unique city. Please save this building.
