We the undersigned wish to keep this Local Pub OPEN as a Pub and believe there is NO NEED for a Change of Use to anything else including Shops, Restaurants and Housing etc as there are plenty of such local facilities but there will be NO TRADITIONAL LOCAL PUB if a change of use happens.

There IS A NEED for a Pub to serve the local community and we petition Enterprise Inns and North Somerset Council to STOP any Change of Use or Retail Development and Keep the Pub as a Pub. We say NO TO CHANGE OF USE and NO TO a CONVENIENCE STORE OPERATION.

We have no need of a food store, we have several already. The Co-op has deserted Weston 3 times. Once when the Milton store closed, again when the large supermarket closed and most recently when the bank closed. Perhaps the Co-op could learn to run a pub. . .

Despite lack of investment to bring premises up to a reasonable standard every land lord placed in pub works hard to give a good standard of service. The locals appreciate that and stay loyal to the Bristol House. We are a large residential area with businesses expanding and new business coming in. We need a local pub where the community can come together. The owners obviously do not want a pub and seem happy to let the premises go into decline. They should sell at a reasonable price to someone who can see the potential of a public house where the Bristol House is. We do not need another convenience store and with current development of dentist on opposite corner to the pub I am amazed that this proposal is even being considered.

A local pub is the only community hub left in most places, and this area in particular is well blessed with convenience stores, but sadly lacking in pubs! As such there would have been little competition - however I suspect the usual tactic of unrealistic rents/ties by a pubco have caused the demise of these premises.

We do not need nor want another totally unnecessary convenience store on our doorstep, if this is allowed to go ahead it will affect several local long running stores and I would much rather have a local well used pub than another store owned by a large company who couldn't care less if it destroys a community asset, all they are interested in is profit not local people and their needs.

This pub is at the centre of our community. This Commuity also has 5 ! Shops within walking distance where friends & family also work so not only do we not wont to lose our pub are friends & family do not ! Want to lose their jobs.

When enterprise Inns were refused permission for their Tesco Trogan Horse project a couple of years ago the planning inspectorate refused on safety grounds due to increased traffic flow on the junction. No changes have been made to reduce the hazard so therefore the safety risk still exists.

This is a traditional Public House in a local community. Please keep it this way as the area, deserves this. The current Managers are trying to achieve this and I support them, all the way.
