Save the Brentwood Barrington small dog area!!!

Gah! We've been almost mauled by a large dog before at this park - nothing against large dogs, but The small dog section was a chill place for small dogs and their owners.

Small dogs challenge big dogs, which might make a big dog react unfavorably. No owner of a big dog wants their dog to bite or trample another dog, and no owner of a small dog wants their dog hurt. Separating the small and big dogs protects both owners of big dogs and of small dogs.

It's a community park for all size dogs let's keep it that way !

I'm a vet and I think small dogs need their own area.

Improve dogparks, don't eliminate them. They are important to almost everyone who owns a dog or enjoys dogs.

Brentwood is known for the dog park which has been there for decades. The small dog section of the dog park is a necessity for any dog park to allow a safe space for smaller, timid, and/or elderly dogs. Across the USA many dog parks exist with not only safety dividers for small and large dogs but even medium sized dogs. The Barrington Dog Park should remain intact with both sections of the park. Give small dogs a space!!

There have been multiple attacks and deaths of small dogs in the dog park! Please keep the small one to protect our little dogs!!

It's so great to be a part of a community -- humans and dogs, alike. By taking the little dog park from us, you're hurting a great benefit of Brentwood and its residents; getting on board with the others who are creating chaotic change. Brentwood is no longer the community it once was, (lovely and peaceful). The divided park is/was one of the last casual, comfortable and fun places left, and our little dogs or shy dogs or elderly dogs were safe there so everyone could relax and have a valuable experience. Please show Brentwood that you care!

Please save it! I have small dogs and they love the dog park. It's why we moved to Brentwood.

I recently moved to the area and chose specifically the apartment complex across from the dog park because of it accessibility. My small dog cannot be near the big dogs and had an incident with one of the larger dogs coming into to the park. He must be in a small dog park area.

My small dog is terrified of large dogs and will not venture in to the big dog park. Please keep an area reserved for small dogs so that they can enjoy the park without fear.

We NEED a dog park - for small dogs as well as bigger ones. Small dogs need eexercise - and co-mingling!!!
