My children attended Brooker it’s part log our community’s identity! Stop the nonsense and let’s invest our time and resources in improving our schools!

As the parent of children who will be attending Brooker next year, I was a bit taken aback when I saw the mascot, as I saw it to be culturally insensitive. I support wanting a change in mascots. I prefer for it not to be part of my kids’ future history.

My school mascot was the Warriors - not a slight or insult, but a tribute to brave native Americans. This is the same story - political correctness run amok.
