This is nothing short of a LAND GRAB by property owners who feel that their property lines extend to the waters edge. This is PUBLIC SPACE & we must resist every attempt to treat it as anything else by a few over-reachers.

There should not be permitting fees for other activities along Bayou St John either. In the draft CZO the banks of Bayou St John are designated as Open Space - Neighborhood which means, in my opinion, the public should have easy access to this space. The bayou, essentially, should be free for all tax-payers to enjoy.

Have attended boogaloo from NY state for 5 years - I encourage others to make the trip for this fantastic festival. I have marveled every year how by the end of monday you cannot even tell there was a huge festival on the bayou. I think it is a tremendous festival, I believe it has huge social impact and small environmental impact - Keep The Boogaloo Free!!!!

6 people have moved into the neighborhood and now cannot abide the 'noise' of a festival that happens once a year. Same old crap!
