There is a difference between a non-profit, giving back and a for profit looking to make more every event forever. The city should treat the two types of organizations differently.

The individuals behind the Greener Bayou Coalition have an agenda. They do not own the bayou! It is a public space. Keep events free on the Bayou!

Please think carefully about the results of this attempt to raise the fees. It will not be positive. The Bayou Boogaloo is a critical component of bringing the Midcity area back. Don't shut it down.

These proposed fees are a stab in the heart to the festival and organziation that has been leading the way in restoring the Bayou St. John tree canopy. Take a walk along the bayou and you you can see the trees. When something so wonderful as the Bayou Boogaloo is working so well for the community and our environment, why mess with if?

People who don't like music shouldn't live in the world's music capitol. You'd think anyone who can put up with New Orleans' murders, crime, bad schools, heinous politicians and terrible streets, you could put up with some music from time to time.
