Boat ramp should remain! Important access point to enjoy Pine Island corridor of Big Thicket preserve. TXDOT proposed alternatives do not make sense.

I believe this could be done in a way that would both have the boat ramp intact or moved and still provide the needed bridges at the same time. I don't believe that we should have to choose between the two for our community.
This is the only ramp on the bayou that the public has use of and many people take advantage of it.

Will increase risk to persons crossing the feeder roads from side roads due to increased traffic flow of usually higher than the designated speeds. Additionally, closes a highly used boat ramp that will impact recreational users.

I live on the Pine Island Bayou and without the ramp, access to our natural resources by boat would be hindered greatly.

I think this boat launching spot needs to be preserved. It is used often. Especially by the people living in the surrounding area.

I see more negatives than positives from the bridge situation i.e. No ramp, possible flooding of neighborhood, and increased feeder road traffic.
