I use this boat ramp often and would have to drive all the way into Beaumont and waste a lot of unneeded gas to launch.

Please save the boat launch at Pine Island Bayou. Too many good family memories have been made there and so many more need to be made

The frontage roads would be nice, but we still need the boat ramp.

I'VE BEEN USING THIS RAMP FOR YEARS. FROM FISHING TO GENERAL RECREATION THIS RAMP HAS PROVIDED VITAL ACCESS TO THE BAYOU. THERE ARE NO OTHER RAMPS THAT ARE REASONABLE TO LAUNCH FROM TO ACCESS THE BAYOU. THIS RAMP IS AT THE HEART OF THE BAYOU AND CLOSING IT WILL RENDER IT USELESS.

Especially during summer months, access to Pine Island Bayou is often totally cut off from other waterway access due to low water levels, sand bars, felled trees. Removing the boat ramp will render PIB virtually useless.

Save the boat ramp, it's not fair that lumberton people will have to drive to beaumont, plus lumberton people have to travel out of town just to go do something, at least let us keep our boat ramp

Daily Monday - Friday if you go towards Beaumont there are those people that have to get off the hwy down by tractor supply, speed down the frontage road and merge back on. That holds up traffic because people have to slow down to make room to let them back on the hwy, and that is what will end up happening to Keith rd/ Cooks lake rd. Not only will it cause more slow downs to allow people back onto the hwy but I'm sure it will cause more accidents. People will have troubles getting out from Keith rd, Artesian Acres, Cooks Lake rd and any other road through there. I do agree it would be convenient at times but I see more harm then good coming from it, it's not often there is an accident through that small area. And it is out of the way but you can go through Sour Lake to get to Beaumont if needed.

Please don't close our ramp. It's been a part of my life for 28 years and I'd like to keep it that way. My family and I are partial to that boat ramp and u see each it weekly. I would gladly pay a yearly/monthly/daily fee and be able to go to our favorite fishing hole or swimming hole right here at home. Please spare our boat ramp please...

The boat ramp should be kept and improved during the construction. I honestly don't see the need for a continuous access road to begin with. This is the only public ramp to access this area for miles.
