So important for all those Shrimpers fans old & new , whenever I take new friends , families to their first game a trip to the BB gives them a sense of how special in the clubs history it is to understand this great club

Southend United Football Club started there. You can’t close this pub it’s an historic place for Southend.

Have been in this classic pub a few times and always had a warm welcome,too many local pubs closing down, it needs to stop

Been using this pub before and after Southend football for over fifty years. It must not be turned into flats.

Important that this pub remains open for the locals and also due to its importance in the heritage of Southend United FC

More than just a pub, its indelibly woven into the fabric of not only Southend United Football Club, but the local area.

The Blue Boar is a huge part of Southend United and the City's history. Stop this cultural vandalism of our heritage!

Blue Boar is truly part of SUFC ,and as suchits becomes part of the history of Southend itself and should never be sold for flats but given heritage status , handed over for a fee to Cosu to preserve as part of Southend United Football Club.
