I have spent my mornings reading your stories about these strange and beautiful creatures and it reminds me why I started this fight in the first place. The deep sea is not just a place for industrial profit because these animals deserve a chance to survive without being trapped in massive nets.

Seeing this much energy behind saving the blobfish leaves me absolutely stunned. I grew up hearing people mock these creatures for their appearance but this momentum proves so many of you see their value just like I do.

Seeing this much energy behind saving the blobfish leaves me absolutely stunned. I grew up hearing people mock these creatures for their appearance but this momentum proves so many of you see their value just like I do.

The blobfish needs saving!!!! This creature is described as a gelatinous mass that just floats around awaiting for its food to come to it. Unfortunately this creature is on the verge of extinction because of deep-sea trawling off the coast of Australia. During deep-sea trawling many blobfish are getting caught in nets laid out for crabs and lobsters. So people should not be permitted to do deep-sea trawling off the coast of Australia in order to keep the blobfish safe and alive. So save the blobfish today!
