Can an agriculture college be in any more of an ideal location?! I think not. Why fix something that is FAR from broken.

I chose the Barony to train as a veterinary nurse do to the location and there being such a wide variety of animals at the campus to gain real 'hands on' practical experience. I also liked the close knit environment and atmosphere that was present. To close the Barony would be a devastating loss for all the courses run there and for the community. I have many fond memories of my time at the Barony and would not be the person I am today had I not studied there. Moving location would not provide the same learning experience and that would be a real shame. Save the Barony campus!

The grounds are what makes Barony the amazing rural college it is and relocating to an urban environment would ruin the colleges most unique feature. I was a student there for 3 years and loved taking walks in the grounds on free time. Keep the Barony where it is!

And to sell land that is owned at the Barony to then rent from the chriton is crazy!

It would be an absolute tradegy to close Barony. It works due to its location. Experiences and skills gained here last a lifetime and this campus gives a feeling of safety and security whilst building confidence in its students.

I trained as a veterinary nurse at barony. I chose to study at barony because of the location, nowhere else gives you the same experience with a wildlife hospital and working farm. I gained valuable experience with wildlife, cows, sheep, horses and a wide variety of small animals in the animal care training centre. By relocating, SRUC Barony may lose most of it's appeal.
