The Barony Campus needs to remain where it is. Not in or anywhere near the town.

This is just another example of a rural community being stripped of its assets in favour of a urban community. It is a farming college and it needs to be in a rural environment. The young people of Dumfries and Galloway have very few educational options as it is and to take this one away would be a crime.

I attended the Barony a good 10 years ago now and loved it there. It's in the ideal location for the purpose of the college and should not be moved to a more urban area.

Best rural education facility in Scotland, hands down. The number of people who studied there and are now in employment in fisheries, vetenary nursing, forrestry, land management, agriculture all thriving Scottish industries and Scottish renouned at that. Save Barony please

What is the point of a college for teaching about animal husbandry that is not located in a rural or farming environment?

Farming and Forestry are key to keeping fresh food on the table and people working in the rural environment in Scotland. We need local further education for local none academic students.

Relocating this outstanding rural college to an urban location is absolute madness and must not be allowed to happen. The future of all our rural industries is at stake here.

Save the barony ! I have never enjoyed studying as much as I have here. The building and location is a big part of what makes the barony great ! There are already enough colleges in an urban setting, we need more places like the barony that are surrounded by countryside and woodland

Save the barony, was the best 2 yrs of my life here and the place is everything to do with it and the staff. I don't know what else to say that everyone hasn't already said but this is a fabulous educational facility and I have been to a few colleges james watt, reid kerr, barony and sac ayr. Nothing compairs to the Barony and never will. If you close it you will be closing the best college in Scotland! !!!
