loose people-cut programs- people leave- cut programs-more gone-college closes… very sad.

I graduated from Iowa Wesleyan in 2005. I was there on a music scholarship for choir & band. I was a business major but while attending Iowa Wesleyan music was a big part of my life & it still is.

When you take away an art class, you take away a studen't unique expression of themself. No one is bad at art because nobody else can do the same art someone else does. Art is everywhere, everywhere you look. Somebody put it there and some people are waiting to put their own art on this earth. I was an art major and if my courses had been cut, it would have been like telling me that my schooling had no purpose. How lost do you think I would have felt and everyone else who chose art for their career?

How can a school purport to be a liberal arts college if it doesn't value it's own arts program?
