It would be a massive loss to lose this pub that does lovely food and lots of activities. It would be a shame to lose for just 4 houses. The landlord has work so hard to keep trade.

We visit every week lunchtimes, best food around for good price, place is always busy. Mac and Sharon do brilliant job, good clean pub, don't want to lose it

don't get rid of this pub. I don't live in Clowne but when I visit family I always pop in. It a shame that there's only a handful of pubs left. When in the 80's it was which one to go too. People used to drive miles to come to the Angel on a Sunday afternoon/ evening. It used to be buzzing with hundreds of people. Don't let Clowne become a ghost town with no public houses. Why not demolish the welfare and build the houses on that land. It looks awful.

Let's face it there's not many places to eat lovely fresh home cooked meals in the area! What's happening to our social life? No wonder people have to sit at home drinking - not controlled when you have a bottle in front of you! (Not me may I add! Lol) SHAME TO LOOSE YET ANOTHER GOOD PUB!!!!!

The council closed everything for the kids of clowne now they want to close everything for adults shame on you ! !!
Keep Angel open good food good beer and great atmosphere .
It's time the council stopped giving planning permission we have enough houses time to give something back !!!

The angel pub needs to stay as its the only one in clowne i actually enjoy going in! The meals are great and the hosting skills are even better!
No more houses in the area. I Think plenty are being built just up the road. Dont you?!
