Why build over this one? There is now many derelict public houses in clowne. Why destroy a perfectly functioning one? It's part of village life.

The Angel is part of the fabric of the village. The creeping tide of urbanisation is a crime that rips communties apart. Removing places Iike the Angel to replace with a few houses to the profit of those and to be bought by those who have no interest in Clowne will just dilute a comunity which is pretty unique in the 21st century. Sad, just sad.

It's OUR not ARE. The council just ain't thinking (other than lining their own pockets of course) houses = ppl of whom May have children. Where are these children going to go to get an education? An already over run school. There are so many houses that have already been built in and around Clowne, without a thought to the amount of extra school space needed, the extra volume of traffic, the fumes from such vehicle, the damage to our children's health, the damage it's doing to the kids education, too many pupils = some children will suffer without the correct teacher support. Clowne has suffered enough already with other pub closures. If they MUST build, Can't they build where the old welfare building is??? All I can say is I am glad my kids don't attend the local school. I just wish the council (or who ever) would think of the bigger picture and not the bigger profit.

Clowne would not be the same without it. There has already been far to many pubs close their doors!

Fail to understand why you'd want to get rid of one of the few remaining pubs in Clowne. There's already nothing round here anymore don't make it worse!

More houses and less places to go is not a great idea. There is plenty of places fields etc. Why take something that is already there. A massive part of our village. Not right

It would be so sad to see the Angel pub disappear. It's part of Clowne, it need promoting not destroying! There's other places/old unused pubs that could be considered surely.

The Angel is a monument of clowne and would be more than missed from the village. There are many other opprtunities in the village for development but the angel should not be one!
