With over 300 houses being built off Mansfield rd "The Edge "I reckon there's enough ,why shut the Angel which does well staff are friendly Mac and Sharon are sound ,good food ,do something with the welfare !!!

we have enough houses in our village, the blokes worked hard to build the place up. give him a break. its the best food around the village.

We love the meals there. You are always welcomed with a smile & the staff always has a laugh with you

my mum used to work many moons ago she is no longer with us,but I know she would be devastated to learn about pruposed building work.bolsover council keep your money grabbing hand off our pub!!

The Angel is an iconic landmark in Clowne and should be left alone!! We don't need more houses we need more public houses!!!

If they need to get rid of a pub why not do something with the old welfare? At least people go to the angle pub.

Just not fare how it's all been sorted, couldn't have asked for better landlord & landlady it's such a shame, will just have to keep on fighting to save your pub

There is already approved planning permission for flats to be built on the crown across road, it is someone else that owns that, they are to start building in the next few months apparently
