I cant believe they are trying to close down this popular pub after all these years. To build 4 measly houses, whats happening? I only visit once a year as I now live in Turkey but it is always on my list (even tho I get abuse from Mac - only joking mate)

Great pub and met good friends there. Please save it! Too many pubs closing down these days so soon enough no one will be able to go out and have food and drinks and a catch up in pubs with friends that don't live near each other,that's what we like to do instead of being stuck in the house after work etc.

I love the pub.. the food the beer the atmosphere the staff and the people who go in ..why ruin a good pub for more houses... there building loads in clowne already and they need a few local pubs for the hard working people to go in... such a shame this if it happens.. save it please

It would be a shame to see it go, also that bit of Mansfield Road isn't a very good place for more houses, it is congested enough and hard to cross on foot.
