Demolishing the amphitheater would demonstrate ignorance of historic preservation in a sacred site in our country. Preserve the amphitheatre!

Please don't demolish the Amphitheater! It should be designated as an historic landmark. Surely there is some way to use the $30 million to help preserve and maintain it, rather than replace it.

There has to be another way to preserve this historic venue. It will never be the same if you destroy it.

The Amphitheater is history, is the heart of Chautaqua. To extinguish it is to kill the very essence of what Chautauqua is. Why do you choose to lessen the experience, the ethereal quality of this community?

Too historic to demolish... Improve and use remaining funds to make other improvements around CHQ, or possibly helping to preserve the lake H2O quality.
