Hey! Let's have seat cushions made that say SAVE THE AMP! A perfect solution. And, warehouse them every winter for re-use.

I see no reason for changing. I go because of the history in the place, and so do many. If you know the place and have a hard time setting you usually bring a pillow. You cna't make a new one that would look or be the same as the one we have now. It will be NO MORE! Many won't bother going as that's what the charm is there. If that's what they want take all the housed down too and the old hotels! If you want change you have just lost a part of history that we are known for. I go up there for the charm and history, changing it you have just lost it! This area needs it, and besides I thought once it was noted as a historical place they couldn't change it. We must save it! America is known for getting rid of history and we are still so young as a country. Other countries save their buildings no matter what they are. Shame on you for even thinking about this! Save as is!

The charm of the original Amp is its roughness....take that away and it's just another venue. Buildings don't have to perfect to be good

I do not know the details of the proposed renovation rather than demolition. will the renovation accomplish, long term, what is needed to ensure structural integrity for the forseeable future? If so, I'm in. if not, it doesnt make sense.
