California Oaks are one of the few native species of trees left in the state. They have grown here since before the first human ever stepped foot on California soil, and are rightfully protected by law. These majestic trees are a staple of the Pasadena Glen community, and the entire neighbored enjoys their shade and beauty.

We have recently heard that a request has been put in to remove 6 beautiful giant oaks from Poison Oaks Park in the Pasadena Glen in order to clear the land for the construction of a new property. WE CANNOT ALLOW THIS TO HAPPEN.

The only lawful reason to remove a California Oak tree is for health or safety reasons: There is absolutely NO reason to remove these trees other than to make room for construction.

This is unacceptable and we as a community must come together to protect our beautiful oaks and preserve the natural beauty this community has to offer.
