Final supporters
Sylvia Myers recently purchased a standard sized 8 foot square shed for her garden. Sylvia's house has two access doors, both of which have large steps & very high thresholds to climb over.
Throughout Sylvia's life, she has supported many disabled people & purchased the shed so that they could come spend time with her at her home in a comfortable way, sitting in her garden for a morning coffee or afternoon tea, being sheltered from public view in front of her Shed.
Sylvia has been asked to remove the shed from her property by Leeds City Council.
We the undersigned, are opposed to the proposed removal of Sylvia Myers' garden shed which we do not believe obstructs anyone or anything. We call on Leeds planning to:
Allow the Shed to remain where it is in Sylvia's garden as the shed is not large & does not obscure any views.

It's just wrong if it's help the disabled. Who will it be harming I thought the council should encourage this ladies support as it will not be a drain on council budgets for the disabled
This shed does not restrict anyones light or privacy. It is a normal shed. This lady who obviously cares for others less fortunate is obviously being targeted. There are much more instrusive outbuilding being erected in peoples gardens with no planning required.
This is an outrage and unfair on disabale people that sylvia works with. When you are disabled you need special arrangements and this is stopping them going to see sylvia will the council pay for her to have disable access to her house then.
I've seen much bigger sheds in other peoples gardens without any issues. The fact Sylvia is supporting disabled people should alone be enough to keep it. But can't see it is obstructing anyone's view so let Sylvia keep her shed, and continue her good work.
Planning permission is not required if sheds do not cover more than half of the area of the garden; not including the area occupied by the house. It contains no sleeping accommodation and the floor area does not exceed 15 square metres. I'd be interested to find out the exact reasons for removal. It's just a shed. Let it stay.
The shed is doing no harm leave it alone .

disgracefull to ask for it to b removed when it's to aid others, lovely place for them to get together and not be lonely or be unable to get into her house..let it stay..council should be positive and donate something towards there grt together's as an act of charity to their locals.
