Save SurfsideYouth Baseball and Softball!

I witnessed my cousin play here numerous times and almost made it to the little league World Series. Never do away with children's extra curricular activities! Kids need this kind of sportsmanship and teamwork to help develop them into their adult life.

Now more than ever we need positive activities for young people.

Keep Surfside baseball and softball! If Huckabee has to be changed then improve the facilities and tap into sports tourism $$.

I grew up playing Baseball here!!

It absolutely disgust me that the "city" itself would even consider doing away with such extra curricular activities involving hundreds of children,which not only helps to funnel their attention in a positive direction but it also gives children a solid foundation in which morals and values are able to be taught; by taking something of this spectrum away from children, your inedibly taking away from the future of our community of Surfside beach, because children are the future of our society.

I would think that the Chanticleers World Series WIN would be reason enough for Surfside Beach to keep their softball & baseball programs!!!! What about Surfside little league, they won the World Series TWICE!!!!!!!

A lot of my childhood was spent here, and I am looking forward to my own son playing here one day

My son TJ has played here for years and loves it. I would hate to have to find somewhere else to play.

Save this park, all the money that goes to public works and we can't save this for the kids.. I grew up,in surfside why do we have a police force this large!!!$$! It makes no sense.

I have heard nothing but good things about this program.so I decided to sign my Grandson up. So please keep funding this program ,for all the children .

Shame on y'all for even considering this!

I think Surfside can find a better way to cut budgets than to take away from children.

I remember being a cheerleader for a football team at Huckabee. Keep a space where kids can play. With all the talk about childhood obesity, we need to continue to provide parks for the kids to play in and join in on sports organized or pick up games.

The baseball and softball programs at Surfside Beach help to build character in the youth of the Surfside Beach area. Don't Take that away from the kids.

We need more activities for kids not less

Keep the ballfield for Surfside kids. It's the only thing they have to do that's sponsored by the town. We place allot of emphasis on Senior activities and clubs but we forget about our children and hassle them when they walk the streets of town.

I played here when I was younger. This is a shame. Save Huckabee!!!!
