This ball field is used by sooo many children. "Family beach" remember that. Not much for families but beach, water park and ball fields. Now you wanna take one of them away?

Family friendly town means kids.... Kids mean sports... Sports means baseball!! We want to ENCOURAGE more families to come. You can't take away a kid friendly and necessary activity and place and still claim us to be a family friendly place unless your definition of family is changed to mean only those without children!!!

Great idea, eliminate positive activities for kids so we can raise more murderers, theifs and drug addicts. Keep kids busy and you keep them out of trouble.

This program gave my children something constructive to do and helped them make friends that they have kept for years...Please continue to provide the local children with a safe place

Both of my boys have been playing baseball in Surfside for years. They love it and the program. We may not live in Surfside city limits but we have always chosen the SBYSA over the rest. It would be such a shame to see something that has been so successful for decades be taken away by selfish politics!

Taking away youth sports will do no good, all out will lead to us more video games and bored bad kids.

I grew up on those fields. A lot of the things I still value life were taught to me in youth sports. Don't rob our children this opportunity!

This was a huge part of my childhood memories, especially with my brother. And it's where I would go when the world was closing in on me - a park like this and programs like this matter.
